Established 1878
Lake Park, Georgia
A welcoming family of faith gathering each Sunday on Cotton Avenue to worship Jesus, share in communion, and spread the Word of God grounded in the Holy Bible.
Welcome Home
For nearly 150 years, Lake Park Christian Church has been a faithful presence in South Georgia — a place where neighbors become family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached plainly from the Holy Bible.
We're growing, and we'd love for you to grow with us. Whether you've walked with the Lord for decades or are just beginning to ask the questions, there's a seat saved for you on Sunday morning.
Youth are especially welcome — children, teens, and young families have a home here. We believe the next generation belongs in the life of the church, and we'd love to meet yours.

Our Story
Lake Park Christian Church dates to the earliest days of the settlement. Founded in 1878, the congregation first gathered at what is now the old Lake Park Cemetery.
In 1922, the original building was lifted from its foundation and carried by mules to its present site on West Cotton Avenue — where the church family has worshiped ever since.
Nearly 150 years later, the doors are still open and the welcome is still warm.
Our Pastor
Pastor Keith shepherds our congregation alongside his wife with a steady love for Scripture and a deep care for the people of Lake Park. Each Sunday he opens the Word plainly, with warmth and conviction, trusting the Gospel to do its work.
Whether you have questions about faith, are walking through a hard season, or simply want to meet — Pastor Keith would love to talk with you.

What We Believe
We hold to the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God — our guide for all of life and faith.
We share in communion together, remembering the body and blood of Christ given for us.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ — crucified, risen, and returning.
We are called to love one another, welcome the stranger, and share Christ with our neighbors.

The Lord's Supper
The cup and the bread — a simple, weekly remembrance of the body and blood of Christ given for us. All who trust in Jesus are invited to the table.

Our Church Family
We're a close-knit congregation of every generation — children, parents, and grandparents — worshiping side by side. From baby dedications to prayer at the altar, life happens here together.
We are actively welcoming new members. If you're looking for a church home where you'll be known by name and prayed for by name, we'd be honored to walk with you.

A Word Of Encouragement
Whatever you're facing this week, you don't face it alone. Bring it to the Lord — and bring it to a church family ready to pray with you.
